Lichess Trainer - Knight + Bishop

I was reviewing the chess lessons and saw the knight + bishop endgame. It's one of my favorite endgames, so I clicked it to play through it. From this position in particular: imgur.com/a/XH1vl8Q

I'd much rather play Bd3+, which still forces Kg8. But then I can play Bf5 (really, any move on that diagonal), which forces Kf8, then Bh7 to force Ke8, and so on.

Is the solution given here actually quicker?
You'd want your bishop to remain on that diagonal to create the triangle as the lesson continues to explain.
@grandmasterbates I think you're right. They're both mate in 20 and I also expect that most players who can complete this endgame (in a game) in less than 1 minute would play Bd3+ (not because of the triangle, but that is a common theme in this endgame). All bishop moves should be accepted in that position, they all achieve the same goal and win in 20 moves.
Ng6+ the move before would have been a quicker way to achieve a rotated version of the position you were going for (which is also the way I was taught - no triangles, just perform a W with the knight).
