Millennium Supreme Tournament 55

I just got it today and so far I'm loving it.
Welcome Steve,

and congratulations on your new board.

I also have a lot of fun with it.
I still haven't tried using it for an OTB game (to make a PGN of the game). What app are you using for that purpose?
Hi HOLTCAP,
I play with a Millennium eOne and just checked the possibility you are looking for with the „White Pawn“ app.
You can use the function „1v1 Match“ on the app, when you have connected the board to the app. After the OTB game is over, you exit the game and select the „three parallel lines“ in the right upper corner to get to the main menu, select „Game History“, where your OTB game as well as games played with the app online (like of Lichess) will be shown, you then select your OTB game and can select to share „pgn“ or „pgn file“ as export options.
Hope this will help.

Through the recent Millennium Cup on Lichess I got in touch with someone from Millennium. Will contact him with the question whether or how this can be down with their own software and apps. At first glance I could not find this option on their „Chesslink“ app I use with my eOne.
Will report the feedback in this thread. Until then, have fun with your eBoard and „Play you soon“!

Hi HOLTCAP and other Millennium Users,

had a brief chat with the guy from Millennium who referenced the chess programmes on their website in ...
English: computerchess.com/en/Chess-programs/
German: computerchess.com/Schachprogramme/
I believe you will not find what you are looking for in this section, as these programs are more focused on playing against an engine of sorts.

However, there is also a link on the website that guides you to information on playing online in ...
German: computerchess.com/Online-Schach/
English: computerchess.com/en/Online-Chess/

There you will also find the "White Pawn" app I mentioned in my previous post, including a link to the creator's website.
If I got that right, then Millennium works with some open source principles to encourage developers to create apps and software for their products. Hence "White Pawn" is like a wanted accessory of the Millennium product line-up, which feels a lot better than using an obscure app that somehow fights its way into the depths of your pricey eBoard.

You may find other third party apps in this section that you want to check out for their functionalities because I could not find a statement on the "play OTB => export PGN" function in the brief description of the "White Pawn" app ... - but found and tested the function yesterday evening in the app. ;-)

Last but not least, the "White Pawn" app works equally well with my Square Off Pro than it does with the Millennium eOne. And there are likely more apps out there I do not know (yet) that will work equally well or better for you and others ...

As always, if you find something out that could be of interest to other users, regardless whether it is something fantastic or a problem that is stopping you in your tracks ... - this is the right Forum to share it, get help and help others!
Thanks,
Kli
