Why are there male and female chess competitions?

the number of women needed to increase % of women being world champions are just not there, women just don't want to do chess.

Men and women are different mentally.

culture gently pushes girls away from playing chess, however ive found thats not the case with asian kids.
@Stephenson stop with this bullshit about the polgar sisters! Only Judit was strong and she made the top Ten only once in her career. Of course any titled player would Beat most of us here, but that's not what the discussion is about.
Because titled women are weak if compared with titled man.

Just like we have male and female tournaments in Judo, Chess goes the same way since women's body and brain are different from male's one.
Sure thing, we, chess players, win the game by throwing the loser on the floor. :D
We can also throw the board on the other person's head and pretend nothing ever happened in case of losing position. It is 100% chance of draw (or even winning in case of any incapacibility).
