iPad update is this a glitch or is this the new enhanced look?

It's lower resolution so everything is bigger in the menu, but when your in a game the board is now 2/3 the size with a big border around it. I really hope this is a glitch and not the new enhanced iPad look because it wood be absolutely terrible. I loved the full screen look with no borders.

I'm agree with ramdomalbum. The ipad look it is no enhanced in this new version, it is worsened! Very little board!

I only have an iPad and can't do that on here. I could email it to someone if needed.

I have taken measurements. I have a 9.7" iPad

Old board size was 19 cm x 14.5 cm = 275 sq cm
New board size is 12 cm x 12 cm = 144 sq cm

That is a 48% size reduction. I would not say that making the board half as big is an enhancement!

Hopefully there is an official lichesss statement in response to this in case there is a glitch in this update.

Same here on an iPad mini 2: looked perfect before, now the board is way smaller, with a lot of unused border space and bigger fonts that do not always fit the UI well (example: the create game window)... It's terrible

Looks almost lke a phone interface scaled up, instead of a native tablet one....

Portrait mode is back to normal. Awesome! I was scared there for a moment, glad it was able to be changed.
