we need 4 player chess here! (and bughouse)
4 player chess is terrible.
this is your opinion, on chess.com it's having quite a good success. Personally I think it's very fun to play and would like to see it here.

I don't think that it is terrible, but I would rather see s-chess/Seirawan chess than bughouse.
It's very amusing and has lots of fun, it would be great to see 4 player chess here in lichess!
I'm not a developer, but my understanding is that the way this site operates, they can't do any variants on an irregular board, or with irregular piece movements.
The staff, understandably so, doesn't seem very welcoming to new variant ideas, as many of the ones they've implemented in the past have not been popular enough to warrant the time spent. They're popular for a bit when they first come out but then quickly die off. I can see the same thing happening with 4 player chess unfortunately.
