Training Coordinate. What is your record?

@ bishop_rope-dancer it has nothing to do with puzzles and i dont much care about all those flawed endings. fast mouse :D
I started doing these a week ago and I my max was 30. Now my max is 39 and my average is 32. I feel like Im improving. The real question is...is this going to help me with my game in any way?
Has anyone tried to optimize the mouse response time to help increase the coordinate results or to see if they get faster results in speed chess?
Thats what I thought ChessWhiz. I saw one of your videos. Good work!
i dont understand how people can get 35+, how can u click that fast
Learned the coordinates well in my teen age times - with the computer it is mainly the concentration and the mouse technique which gives challenge. It helps if you can click the squares without moving your wrist and be completely focused and find a good rhytm. Mouses (mice?) and mousepads differ so much and have their influence. My record (only once this far) is 50, the second best is 48 with white. If I remember correctly with black 46 or 47. Average as white now 46,25, with black 42,90. But is this useful? Hardly so, only a bit fun.
i found it very usefull, beginners can find it tough to learn the name of the squares it takes a while to get used the squares to, so i think it does help
eatchipss - yes, you are right - knowing the coordinates IS useful! It helps a lot eg. in reading and watching the games. What I ment: trying to beat your own record over and over.... that´s not so useful IMO, only fun perhaps.
yeh agree %100 with what u just said. prehaps it can help with general board visualization skill aswell maybe??
