I came over from chessdotcom because of the number of cowards that didn't have the courtesy to resign a game. It had been OK on here but now it's getting like chessdotcom. I just had 3 in just my last few games. I think something has to be done because the actions of the cowards is ruining the experience for the honest players that do have the strength of character to resign when lost. The non-resigning quitters are winning this battle and that is wrong.
Perhaps something like a green star next to a players name if someone is achieving 95% completion rate in games could be an idea ? (100% completion would be ideal but I suppose some errors must be accounted for). It would certainly be good if honest players were more easily identified before starting a game. Or perhaps the chess experience on here could be compromised for those achieving a low completion rate? This way they would learn that cheating and quitting only ruins their experience and not ours. Or perhaps we can choose to not play anyone under a certain completion rate %?
Maybe something like this exists already and I just haven't found it?
Message to quitters: Yeah, dudes...we all hate losing, but it's just a game. It's not personal. This is not Godfather 2, it's just a game of chess which should be fun. You won't get far in life with this 'quitting is preferable to resigning' mentality. When life throws you a curveball are you just gonna run away?
Admins, please do something!! Thank you.
