Why can't lichess.org stop "ClocK" cheating?

I have been running into clock cheaters more often as of late.
Does it seem like they are they stealing your time? And if so what is your evidence ?
I think you may be moving at relativistic speeds. This would cause time to move faster for you relative to your opponent.

How they cheat is by adding time to there clock. When the cheaters clock gets down to a given time let's say "1.49 sec." there clock adds time, it will then read "1.53"! This continues the rest of the game so they never run out of time. Your time continues as normal and may run out. I have been notified by "lichess" after reporting some games that had I lost to a cheater and they corrected my stats for that loss.
I'm 72 years old , have been playing chess causally my whole life. Chess is the one game no one would cheat in I thought. Not so I see.
Lichess knows about this problem but does not correct the "bug" that allows people to tamper with the clock, why?
Never heard of lag compensation? Most of the times it's due to natural factors. There are a few lag cheaters indeed, using a VPN to switch their lag.

Lol

I'd say it's more likely you ran into an ordinary cheater
Please read about lag compensation. lichess.org/lag

you can't accuse *every* 3 bar person of being a lag cheater.

Also you've been playing rapid; lag cheating really is not an issue there

Please remove the game link out of the post. The person you have played might find it disturbing to be called out in a public forum as a "clock cheater".

> I don't even report all that do this but at 72 years old, played the game all my life but cheating in chess is new to me since I started to play on the internet.

Feel free to report so we can take a look.
Just FYI: #10 is completely right.
Lag-cheating such as faking bad connection can gain unfair advantage in very fast paced time controls, such as ultra- and hyperbullet, but NOT in slow paced rapid games with increments.

If you have any questions, you can contact me in private.

Edit: Had to delete the post I quoted - since you were not editing the game out of the post.
Feel free to discuss without mentioning names, or, as said above, talk to me in private.
