Suggestion: Champion arena

US Chess Live once implemented this, with some success:

* Direct-elimination tournament with infinite rounds
* One pairing per round (Champion versus challenger), winner becomes Champion (Black has draw odds)
* Players queue to become the next challenger

Is this going to be like king of the hill thing? Whoever is Champion for the longest and/or is Champion at the end of the tourney wins? I also think that the dethroned champ should also have the chance to comeback, instead of being eliminated. Will this be an event with variants?
