How many world champions have you played?

Yes I'm serious. No I'm not talking about simuls.
Nowadays there is a chance to play Magnus even on lichess. But we don't have only Magnus. There is a world champion in junior and senior, in rapid and blitz, in teams and so on. So there is a real chance to play one. And even if it wasn't Carlsen, still it sounds good: "I just played the world champion and made an easy draw with black", doesn't it? So what's your record? Any wins?
Come on guys! No one played a world champion? Can't believe it, as I played already 3 of them.
Don't think I have high enough rating like you do (2k+) to really meet any of them :|
It could be even U8 girls. So anyone has a chance. Also in an open tournament anything can happen. Anyway thank you for answering.
I mean a few days ago in that marathon tournament I played a few candidate masters but boy was I deeesstroyed. Can check my account easy to spot just look for the games that have the CM titled opponent.
Well of course but there is only a handful of former world champions alive think the numbers like 14 and for my rank a CM or NM is the best I can hope to be challenged by lol
Jeff Sarwer several times when he lived in Montreal many years ago. He had been under-10 World Chess Champion in 1986 .
He was the kid portrayed as "Jonathan Poe" in the movie "Searching For Bobby Fischer".
Great guy. The way he was portrayed in the movie had nothing to do with him in real life.
As for the games, there was not the slightest chance for a shadow of a draw ever.

@kifaru
finally a first answer, thank you!
I don't know the movie, never heard of this player. But I read this book of Waitzkin about learning. Isn't Waitzkin the main person in this movie?
