I agree that I will not create multiple accounts

During registration, this is mandatory to check.
What are exact consequences to have more than one account?

However, this is something I do not understand fully, as it is well known that Magnus Carlsen have 5 or 6 accounts here. Is it he exception as a No.1 chess player, or we all are just second or lower race persons?

I agree Its stupid because you take a lot of space but I make an extra account named Breeze-Hot the bot well It's worth it
Lichess says "excessive" multiaccounting which is subjective

Well, with my poor English I understood that "I agree that I will not create multiple accounts" means not more than one.

Can you please insert a link here to that statement you pointed?
During signup: "Also note that making multiple accounts is strongly discouraged and excessive multi-accounting will lead to being banned."

Edit:
Okay, you're right. A little further down you have to check "I agree that I will not create multiple accounts."

It seems to be a gray area somehow. I think it's tolerated as long as you don't use multiple accounts to push/lower your ratings.

Thanks. All this is indeed contradicted... As Carlsen is not banned, then I assume more than 5-6 accounts is not "excessive". ;)

I want to register another member in my familiy using the same ruter (same IP) in order to play in his own account, then hope that would be fine.
Yep, it is. I asked on the discord when I created the account for my girlfirend :)
Be careful with playing rated games vs your family member with the same ip though. I only play casual against my gf.
