Sneaky Checkmate. Do you recommend Fianchetto?

Hey,
That's one of my last games. I'm beginner chess player. So, can You recommend for me some debuts? I'm trying to play a lot English opening and Sicilian defence with fianchetto. What do you think about fianchetto? I read that isn't best move because slows down the tempo. I'm waiting for answears and tips.
Have a nice day.

That's not the best cause it slows down the tempo 😁

More seriously, in your game, Bg2 is a positional mistake because the a8-h1 diagonal is closed by your own pawn, and then your bishop will be inactive (and that's what happens til the end of the game).

It's also a mistake because it takes 1 tempo more for the king to be safe (let's say the moves Bc4/Be7, 0-0 is faster than g3,Bg2,0-0).

Finally, it's an inaccuracy because it weakens the pawn structure where the king stays.

Try to stay focused on basic openings principles and this should be OK.
Many mistakes. The standard trick which occurs pretty often after h3?! is ...Nxf3 winning at least one pawn.
8 Bg2? is a mistake as it loses pawn d3 after 8...Qxd3.
If you want to play fianchetto, the do it earlier: 1 g3 or 4 g3
Your move 4 e4? weakens d3 and d4 so much that fianchetto is no longer viable.
Ok. I understood. Now I can see more mistakes I've done.
Do you recommend Hungarian Opening?
And what do you think about French defense?
As I said i'm a beginner and I'm learning debuts right now.
I played a lot Ruy Lopez, English Opening and Sicilian Defense.
Thank You very much for review.
Greetings.
Hungarian, French, Ruy Lopez, English, Sicilian that is all fine and does not really matter.
If you are a beginner, then you should not learn openings. A game is rarely won or lost in the opening.
Don't focus on traps if you want to make progress though, I recommend watching youtube videos on middlegame technique and practicing tactics. :)
I'm watching a lot of debut videos and GM games on YouTube. But I don't forget about practicing tactics.
