I waited 64 minutes to play LeProfessionnel and claiming a forfeit.

He had asked for 1600 French time means 1500 in England, so I said sure! That's 1400 UTC I told him. He also asked me to remind him 24 hours before the match which I did in case he needed to change it which I was completely fine with. But in the end, he didn't show. I sent you a screenshot of the message on Discord.

I feel bad because he overslept. Has happened to me before too. But I don't want to rearrange and I'm only on mobile the rest of the week.

Is there a set rule for claiming a forfeit? Not saying you don't have a valid reason, i'm just curious if there is a set standard for when a forfeit can be claimed. If there is not one then there should be.

Nope, not to my knowledge... in lichess4545 20 minutes late results in a forfeit and the same in zh league but there is no rule set here.

If I were to suggest a rule it would be yellow card if 15 minutes late and two yellows during the competition results in a forfeit with any yellow in a match you don’t win rolling over to the next 1+0 CWC
