Guys what is the holdup? Anyone who hasn't played please reach out to me. Let's get this tournament over with already...it shouldn't be taking nearly this long. Literally 10 games its less than an hour lets gooooo

@littleplotkin @blitzbullet and @JKtheBullfrog should be playing 2 matches a week to catch up. Fumi if possible even 3 matches sometimes and everyone else 1 match a week. The finals are supposed to start the weekend of the 11th November to coincide with Magnus-Caruana but played in the evening London time.

I'm ready but noone seems to want to play. I would suggest if winner is already mathematically determined to just call the remaining unfinished matches a draw and proceed with finals

My match with opperwezen has been moved few hours earlier than originally planned.

This is what we discussed earlier Fischy or else 2018 CWC will run into 2019 if there are further delays. I'm sure it won't be a problem for the matches to be finished by then.

As for timing I was hastily assuming that evening GMT will be more convenient for both players and spectators around the world but of course that will be up to whoever reaches the final to negotiate with Jann.

My 2 cents:

Don't know if this idea had been brought up before, but If you allow for matches to be adjourned and continued on another day/hour then people will be more flexible with scheduling because you could play 4 games now, then go about your daily business then 6 more games when there is time or you see someone online, instead of finding a whole hour and a half chunk in your schedule.

Certainly sounds better to me than auto-draws
