#297 you mean unsound, as it is provisional for you. it will not make you unprovisonal unless you play people that are 400 points below you or higher or 400 points above you or lower

@SlicingBishop2006 I know how the glicko formula works, I agree with the math that www.lichess.org seems to be convinced by. If they didn't like it they would use a different system.

Perhaps you would like to explain how somebody can sandbag without losing any games?

@AIdanbestieaMin That's not how the glicko system works, you just have to lower the RD. You can do so playing people well outside of 400 points of your own rating but you have to play a larger sample size of games to do that. My current RD is actually 177. Lichess believes my rating is anywhere between 1621 and 1975 based on my current performance. the range is wide because I haven't plateaued yet.

Like I said to slicing bishopearlier, I don't see any indicators that you know what you're talking about and I think you're more emotional than sincere right now. Affirmation over information. Is there a way you can try to validate yourself or perhaps you have some reason why I should care?

Are you better informed than @theselim ? Is there a reason I should dismiss their opinion and instead agree with yours?

@IPunishDaddy2007 you don't need to understand opinions for them to be true. It is your problem if you don't understand it, not mine. It won't change or lose value just because you don't approve it.
