bullet or blitz

im curious because they seem fun or should i play longer timed games?
Blitz. If you play bullet, barely any thought can be put into the game, whereas blitz games allow for more ideas to come out, as well as that fast-paced gameplay that you get from bullet games.
@RyanC1010. 15+10 and 30+20 are great time controls. If you can't/won't handle that then 10+5 and 5+3 are also reasonable.
#3 they only said "bullet or blitz" not classical and rapid! 😅😂
I would say both, depends how much time I can play chess.
Bullet and superblitz so you can take advantage of your opennet.
neither, because both time controls are harmful to your chess growth. Blitz may currently seem like a good option during time of Covid-19 since it is the only way of playing chess without completely losing all your chess brain cells, but blitz only teaches you to think fast, move fast, calculate fast and flag others. now this may seem useful at first, but it does nothing to improve your chess skill. i learnt this the hard way, by playing a lot of blitz over a month's period has already affected my IRL chess skill. recently i took part in a rapid event and came 6th, which is not my usual standard. so I advice you to play less of blitz and bullet, and more rapid and classical chess. or, best of all, do not play any internet chess at all. it's more efficient to use an hour of your time to read chess books rather than use that hour to play lots of blitz and bullet.
