Showing the "power" of specific pieces in analysis mode (i.e a "Monster bishop")

Ok, slightly crazy idea here, but here goes. What it you could actually see the "value" of pieces change over time?

For example a bad bishop could kind of "shrink" visually. A powerful knight placed in an outpost could grow in size or change colour.

No idea if this is even possible with the current engine you're using, but it could be a really nice visual way to communicate the concept of good and bad pieces.

Thoughts?
It is not a bad idea but it has some limitations:

1) It would be very difficult to implement this feature

2) Some people may find annoying seeing some small pieces and some large pieces on the board and may lose their concentration - the board would not be nice to see for some people. Also, if pieces become larger they may occupy the surrounding squares and this is not good to see as well.

If it were implemented, a number inside the piece (or in the corner of the square the piece is in) would be less distracting. Honestly, it's something I suspect Stockfish already does, to some extent. When you look at one K+R+N vs K+R+N game compared to another, the evaluation will likely not be the same, depending on the squares the pieces occupy. It's an interesting idea, to say the least. :)

@olliecampbell I took your suggestion as if it were only implemented in postgame analysis. Such a thing during a game would change the dynamic of chess really like. And if a piece were to suddenly gain value during a game, surprising both players - players would then determine that there are tactics afoot, thanks to what would be essentially an engine running in the background.
It might be better if hovering over a piece with the cursor on the AB gave its value, (as a number) although that would be hard to determine.
Yeah I was imagining it would just be in analysis mode. There are also lots of ways to show it visually—for example super powerful pieces could catch on fire ;)
