These puzzels

why is this a puzzle? this exchange is terrible and took the black player from equal to down a piece... furthermore the puzzle makes it look like a good trade because it eliminates the black rook being taken. Black goes on to lose now that hes down a rook.... I also reviewed both moves to the end. the draw route is quicker and a lot can go wrong after the suggested exchange despite blacks advantage of still having a queen. Theoretically black does win after the suggested exchange, but it takes a lot more moves.

the move 20. ... Nd7 forces a draw if all is played right and opens up for an equal exchange. I saw this in 20 secs and played the move and boom puzzle fail.... correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't a draw from playing black be better than losing to white?
It's a good exchange, because rook+knight is worth 8 points while queen is worth 9 points.
its common sense, as #2 put it- queen is greater than rook and bishop
did you read the rest of the post? its pertaining to how much theory you have to know. If I am wrong I am wrong. I'm just saying its two rooks and a bishop vs queen and rook... and if you actually review the game black managed to lose despite having that queen advantage. So again what I am asking is ... wouldn't it be relatively safer to play to the potential draw with the equal exchanges. I already acknowledged that yes black should still win, but he proves he can blunder when he lost...
Playing a -3 advantage is huge. The goal is to win, not to equalize when your opponent blunders. Its a winning exchange.
