How should I prepare for an OTB Rapid chess tournament

Please suggest some tips

Daily physical exercise.

don't play OTB. it is much more boring than online games

Play against your friends and family over the board so you don't get confused between the pieces. Because I guess 4 years back, I got confused between the king snd queen and played d4 instead of e4. I know I was a complete noob and beginner at that time (I wasn't on lichess at that time but my rating would really be 600 at that time) and I didn't know the lines after playing d4 so I lost. And now I regret practising on various apps for the OTB tourney rather than physical practice. I literally lost the first match of that tournament and was out in the very first level. Though I believe I could have gone further...

Join lichess tournament but change pieces to 3d
