Creation proposal : Correspondence chess tournament

Dear friends,

I propose (as is done on many other important chess site) to create correspondence chess tournaments on Lichess.com.

I noticed that there are a lot of correspondence chess players on Lichess website and I think many people are interested by that.

I ask to players who are are interressed by this idea to support me and vote "YES" for Lichess managers create this tournament category. I also ask to player de parler de cette idée sur les autres points de débats sur le forum.

It's a bad idea, because corresponce play many cheaters :(

I don't agree with your point of view "oops14"... There are also (unfortunately) a lot of cheaters in live games !! ... Just observe and analyze some games and you will be very surprise !! ...

@angevine unfortunately, @oops14 isn't wrong here. It's the reason mods gave for no correspondence leaderboards.

So, how do you explain that ICCF is very successful in the chess world ?... And how do you explain than a lot of OTB (GM, GMI...) chess players love to play correspondance ?... Cheating is not just for correspondance chess players ... :-((

Cheaters are everywhere.

In organized correspondence chess you have wit engines tournaments and without engines tournaments. It works well together on Lechenicher Schachserver. lss.chess-server.net/ This is NO advertising for other sites. I'd like to have correspondence tournaments here.
