Lichess Meetup: Montreal, June 29th

Waiting for a meetup in Nepal or even India.
Last year, I did not leave that early. I did not get home until dark.
I'll be bringing about 30 chess boards and pieces with 6 clocks, one portable table and two chairs for the even.

If people use their own chess sets & bring some of their own picnic stuff, then it could very well last pasted supper time.
Image if chess players would bring their own personal portable 30 inch tables (31.5"x23.6"). That would be a nice size for one chess set & clock.

It all depends on what efforts people put into the even.

Last year we moved picnic tables to set the place up. It worked out fine.
This year, I hope to see even more chess players with their own stuff like tables, chairs and chess sets.

It's time to show off your chess sets.
For the chess players that need the address to put in their GPS:
Maison Smith, 1260 Chemin Remembrance, Montréal, QC H3H 1A2
This is the hours that they are open : 9h00–17h00.
I plan on being there before noon, so I can visit the other Café des Amis spots
Maybe one of them could be good in case it rains.

I typed this in google map and got a map view of where I plan on parking my car.
"Smith House, Chemin Remembrance, Montréal, QC"

When it rains, a backup location is going to be good to have. :)

The following link shows the present forcasted hours. So if you click it on the day of the meet, it will be pretty clear what the forcast for the day is going to be. .

A simple backup plan could be that chess players bring their own ... Straight leg canopy or slant leg canopy to cover a chessboard or even a few.

It's wonderful to have a passion for outdoor chess.

Is someone planning on bring a giant chess sets at the Lichess meet?
