Hi.
How does the rating system work?
Just won a game vs a 1743-rated player and i'm 1585.
I just got 5 points in reward.
I've been awarded, and lost, much more points when playing players rated closer to my rating.

So what determins how many points are lost/rewarded?

Lichess' rating system is something like Glicko-2 except RD always decreases, meaning that players with unstable performances can disproportionately affect other players' ratings.
