feature request: reclassify 0+1 as ultrabullet

I wonder if some may agree (or at least discuss the merit) of reclassifying games timed 0+1 as ultrabullet.

0+1 is likely mathematically equivalent of 40s, not 30s. Of course, it can last longer (or less).

That means that the definition of ultrabullet would need to change from 30s or less to 40s or less.

I see no problem with this new definition, just a "bit" more comprehensive.

And it would give us the fun of playing at least ONE (single) kind of increment for those who love increment and ultrabullet.

:)

Thanks for your feed back.

Oh, no, maybe I wasn't clear...

It would be great to "integrate" the ratings of:
* 1/4 per side
* 0+1 per side

Because right now, there is only one option for ultrabullet.

If you see other variants, they all have a "range"...

I was thinking that if you are improving your ultrabullet rating, you at least would have some options for a change, not to be so boring, you know?
I understand what you are saying. I just meant maybe they could make it a variant in addition to your feature request.
Now you lost me... Maybe it is my narrow view of the meaning of the word "variant", as it is used in the "create a new game" dialog. In this case, it will still be "standard" variant.
But giving it a different name wouldn't prevent to integrate the ratings?

It will be two variants without "range", each with a single option of time to play.

I guess what I really aim is that the "ultrabullet" had one more option.

Like blitz, for example, you can play 10+0 or 10+1 and it will still add up to your "blitz rating", not something else (like incremental blitz) :)

Statistically, it would also be good to group together more games under the same category. I don't think creating another category would help group data to calculate ratings.
