Kramnik Falters in Round 8 of the Candidates

For the first time in this tournament, I disagree with some of the comments in the report on round 8.
Ding-Aronian is not really an unbalanced English, it transposes quickly to a very sedate line of the Catalan. It is actually surprising that the game livens up later.
About Mamedyarov-Karjakin, the reading key of the opening is not so much that Mamedyarov has been Karjakin's second : Karjakin played c6 for the first time earlier in the tournament (against Caruana) and equalized quickly, and Mamedyarov admits that he didn't look into this line because he thought Karjakin would not repeat this experience. Outprepared (maybe for the first time in this tournament), Mamedyarov heads quietly and wisely for the draw. His comments about the role of his second, A.Dreev, are very informative.
I read "This loss is Kramnik’s third in four games."
What do you mean?
8 games maybe as it's the 8th round?
Lucaic,

It means Kramnik lost 3 of the last 4 games he's played i.e. he's on a losing streak
