Disrespectful players on lichess and what to do about those...............?

@kiek333 this behaviour is widely appreciated and encouraged by the majority of the online (li-) chess Community.

Nothing I'm particularly thrilled about, but given the situation you could either

1) Play some tourneys in groups with people with more OTB ish. background, where "this" flagging is less prevalent.

2) Switch site to a site with bad playing experience, where you would get a draw most of the time (proceed on your in risk)

3) Accept that flagging R vs R is the gold standard here and take the losses with more calm

4) Play with increment

Thanks for the advice.

I can handle it and do not care about this loss anyway. What aggrivated me most was the opponent keeping sending me rematch-offers in order to annoy me. I have blocked the player now. In real life this player would not be afraid to do this. It's the new world. It's scary to see how poor the reading skills are.

Stay safe.
Trying to win on time in a lost position and trying to flag R vs R are completely different cases though
#post 38, Thanks for evidence.
Summary, OP flagged his opponent with K+N,
And when his opponent flagged him, he cry!

If both players are down to a rook with no pawns and you have 90 seconds left you can just play fast and the 50 move rule will kick in. I actually expect bad manners from chess players. I've played about 1600 blitz games here and you know all those buttons for "Good Game", "Well Played", "Thank You", and so on. ONE, and I mean ONE, player has used these buttons after our game. Chess players are angry people who would sell their mama for points. If there were no 50 move rule they'd play 300 moves to flag the other guy. There's a reason why I gave up chess for 30 years and it is NOT because of the game itself. It's a beautiful game that, alas, doesn't seem to attract beautiful souls.
hmmm i was looking at this forum with great interest, i see no reason why not to dirty flag. I heard on a commentary strema once, "you have to learn the skill of dirty flagging it just is part of the game!" I will say that i believe that dirty flagging is part of the game. you can of course avoid this by:

A:Use increment, it is hard to flag this way,

B:play correspondence, unlimited, or classical, then you will have plenty of time to play quality chess.

C: Learn to premove, it usually can avoid flagging

and of course, D: (the best in my opinion) play bullet and get used to flagging and how to counter it, after all, isn't it better to learn rather than to pout about it? It isn't like it is cheating or anything. it is part of the game. And pls, don't post stuff like this after you did exactly what you are claiming is bad. Pathetic. I hope the options help!
@drmrboss

Somehow you think it is funny to annoy people? Putting words in someone's mouth or twisting the context of the subject is despicable behavior. I have no idea why but I respect your opinion but try to show respect to those that have a different opinion and start showing respect to everyone on Lichess.org or wherever in our world.

Sportmanship / Respect / Fun and dignity are just a few keywords of the kind of behavior Lichess.org would like you to show .

So stop putting words in my mouth. Thank you.
