Lichess symbols and ipad os 14

All symbols on lichess (the bullet for 1 min tournamens, the berserk samurai, the flag for resigning etc) look to me like cut off in the middle since the update to ipad os 14. Does anyone else witness this effect?

Yeah, it‘s been the same on my iPhone since I made the iOS 14 update. It would be a und pleasure if it could get fixed. (On lidraughts.org, it‘s the same as well.)

I found this diskussioon Fromond the Reddit: ”Apparently ios14 has made it to where custom font apps need a newer more secure method. So developers of apps that use custom font apps (such as cricut) need to update their apps to use the method apple made or custom fonts won’t work. I downloaded iFont & it popped up this long alert about users needing to contact developers to get them to update their Apps to adopt a “UIFontPickerViewController API”. Otherwise we are without til then 😫” Whose is now right?!! Or is it those fonts at all they are using here - i don’t know

I have this same problem....

Do you guys experience similar problems on other sites too? Because I don’t, and I doubt that Apple is going to do anything, because of a broken chess website.

@scuffi: I don't see this effect anywhere else but on lichess.

I use Safari by the way, but according to the page @Solal35 mentioned, using a differen browser doesn't seem to help either.

It's not too severe for me, as I know the icons from the past and from using a Win10 desktop from time to time. It must be more annoying to someone who visits lichess for the first time and can't understand what these strange symbols mean...

Maybe it could get fixed, I mean lichess has 7,000,000 members ...

Hopefully it will get fixed automatically with the next update.
