Predicting the 2020 USA election!

So far, the op got 18 votes (13 down votes and 5 up votes).
So, will only 18 people vote in us elections?
@clousems I get your point. You basically don't care who wins this election. As long as enough votes goes to the Libertarian Party, and thereby in the long run, you hope it will make the GOP choose more carefully, their presidential candidate and party policies.
I applaud you for voting based on your conviction.
Even though we risk hearing 4 more years of Trump's "wonderful" press conferences 🤪

Myself, I can only think of one republican, who in modern times have run for the American presidential election, that I had respect for, which was Ron Paul.
Also I had hoped that it would have been Bernie Sanders who ran for the democratic party.

But I am Danish, so when I view the American election, I base my criteria on other factors than what an american citizens would do.

Personally I was really hoping for a Jesse Ventura candidacy for the Green party. But alas, he didn't run.
The free world needs a right-of-centre American government...we have that.
So fire the delusional real estate salesman.Vote for anyone who refrains from saying he was chosen by God to get covid.
@obladie A right-of-centre American government, by Danish political standards, would on many topics, be the equivalent of having Bernie Sanders as our State Minister.
just historically, if a sitting president runs for president again, he almost always wins. I'm saying Trump will, this will be interesting, but just putting out a fact.
Preliminary estimation based on polling so far:

2016 Trump=4 Clinton=8
Actual result Trump=46.1 Clinton=48.2.
Hence relative weightage of Clinton voter = 0.5×46.1÷48.2 = 0.48.

Applying result on 2020 polling Trump=7 Biden=20×0.48 =9.6

Hence estimated voter percentage for Trump=39.8 and Biden=54.5

No of electoral college per % vote for Trump = 306÷46.1 = 6.64 and for Democrat = 232÷48.2= 4.81. On average its is 538÷100=5.38.

Let us assume Trump % to college changes linearly with peak at 46.1(last election) we can calculate his % to college at 39.8 assuming at 0 his conversion is 5.38(the average conversion), his conversion factor stands at 6.46 and similarly for Biden it stand at 4.9.

Hence total electrol college won by Trump will be 6.46×39.8 =257
and by Biden = 4.9×54.5 = 267. As the sum of the total electro college is not 238, to get an approx we directly inflate both the result, hence after normalization the new tally is
Trump = 257×1.026 ~264 and Biden = 272.

Winning point is 270.
easy: Trump should win if the CNN fake news doesn't get people to go to sleepy joe biden's side.
let us hope Biden doesn't win; if he does, I can tell you U.S.A won't be real and Lichess will never exist anymore.
For me it is always astonishing that people talking about fake news prefer Trump?????

How strong is the preference of ideological thinking outweighting rational thinking! What has the existence of lichess to do with the presidential elections in a part of another continent? All right - everybody is the center of his universe. But even under this belief there should be a litter, pardon my english - it should be "little", room for some ideas before they leave the mouth (mouse?) to enter the public.

*sadlyheadshake*
well if Biden wins, everything will be destroyed and no more Lichess.
