The old theme is more beautiful than the new theme so positive features of the new theme should be combined with the old theme.
What do you miss, specifically? Feedback like this doesn't really help.
In my opinion, the new theme does not have the beauty and symmetry of the previous theme.

This no-margin fullscreen content just makes my eyes bleed...
You need to account for larger screen sizes while making design responsive, and that's REALLY not that hard.
This is just super uncomfortable with content taking 100% width!

Go to to your user name » Board Geometry » Resize your own chessboard.
If it says no board to zoom here. That's because you do not have a chessboard visible on the screen.
The Version 2 is nice. It's a question of learning how to adjust to change.
If a person is using a large UHDTV screen there must be a way to reduce the screen and it works by resizing using the geometry of the chessboard, not the zoom of the browser.
Maybe too many people are trying to use the zoom of the browser to control the resizing of the chessboard.
Having the resizing pop-up like the lower right flashing icon to resize the chessboard was nice.
Great job on that Version 2. Wow.
New theme is distracting. Too cluttered. Extraneous info is too close to the board. It slightly distracts your attention from the board.
