Lichess.org should put an end to witch hunting against Hans Niemann

Let's just hope this sort of thing puts an end to it (and doesn't serve to prolong it).

Unless you live under a rock you have probably noticed a sort of lynch mob against Niemann in the forum. Sure, they are also disrespectful against Magnus, but in my opinion it's way more concerning for Niemann because Magnus is not facing cheating allegations whereas Hans is a young player, not so well established yet, and this is basically ruining is reputation and thus seriously compromising his future career.

And I am not necessarily referring to some individual, disrespectful posts, but rather to the avalanche of new threads which are all a variation on the theme "Hans Niemann is a cheater". Which, needless to remind you, is not even close to being proved at this stage, and thus the principle "innocent until proved guilty" should apply.
Is it already a witch hunt to emphasize that Hans has several red flags against him and that Magnus is probably coming from somewhere?

That, by itself, does not constitute a which hunting. The endless accumulation of repetitive threads that bring no other evidence than crookery and "I knew it" does.
... and it goes on. It goes on...
Fischer accused Soviets of some "collusion" but never suggested any individual opponent was cheating.

Fischer made demands about certain tournaments otherwise he wouldn't play in them, and there were many times he wouldn't play because his demands were not met, including defending his title, but whenever he did turn up at a tournament he then did his best.

Magnus Carlsen needs to handle things the right way and he isn't.

If he thinks Hans Niemann has cheated he should privately submit the evidence to FIDE etc not quit tournaments, resign games in 2 moves and post it on Twitter.

"I don't believe you could play that well so you must have cheated.." that's mostly how online chess cheats are caught and I guess it's the only way, but there's probably other evidence as well. For top-level though, we know they can play that well in one-off games.
