Funny draw I pulled out of my arse.

Wait, how is 73...Rb7+ checkmate? You said it's checkmate if White doesn't take the rook; I don't see how it can reach checkmate at all. White just lets you take his rook so that he doesn't
stalemate you, and eventually promotes.
!@#$#$&.... I meant 73.. Ra6+!!! as it was played in the game. Sorry, was thinking about one thing and typed another.
Oh, right. Well yeah.
and hey I know the feeling, my typos come in the form of completely different text as well :D so don't feel alone

Yeah, that was what I originally observed: After 73...Ra6+ (whoa, see I almost repeated your mistake and said Rb7 again there), White has no legal moves other than the obvious 74.Kxa6 =. So it would
have otherwise been checkmate.

I just thought that 73...Rb7+ would have been cool if the endgame after gambitting the rook with 74.Ka8! Rxf7 75.d6!! wasn't winning, cause then you might have had more stalling time to test for draws
in the process of waiting for White to make a mistake or slip up. If for any reason he lost the knight, you could checkmate eventually after neutralizing the pawns.
It's very nice to find this games to know that the games are difficult to win indeed if you have advantage.
In my opinion in the first game Black had a serious mistake in two opportunities: 34)... g6? and 36)... Rc1? when Rc3+! wins.
Of course, White do the best to have tablas. Great!
In the second, of course you need to see the right way in the board!!, but as I suspicious 68) Kb5? when Kb4! not only is better, if you analize with a program you will see is check mate in 14 moves
as my program says.
I won't comment on the early game. Just subtle pawn losing errors which is why you got the endgame that you did. I'm sure you realize that.

Black played quite well until, imho, 48. ... Kxf4?? In chess you can't just evaluate the material value of each piece. You have to ask yourself whether or not a piece is worth more because of where
on the board it is. In this case, black's b2 pawn is far more valuable than white's f4 pawn. 48. ... Rb3! is clearly winning and better for him. White can't even save his king side pawns after
that.

Your cheapo 62. Rxg4+ was nice. :)
I get this gut feeling about 48...Rc2+ instead of 48...Rb3.

Of course obviously both are better than 48...Kxf4 since it wins nothing.

Maybe I'm just too risky and experimental with stuff, but assuming even White doesn't fall for 48...Rc2+ 49.Ke1?? Rc1+, 49.Kg3 Kd3! heads straight for getting Black's pawn to promote rather than
wasting time grabbing White's vulnerable ones.
