Knowing what to do with space!

Knowing what to do with space, and how to improve it.

not bad good job not making space on the king side :).
Black was doing okay up until the end when he moved his queen out of the way of your passed pawn so that he could hang it. The advantage of space is a little less tangible that the advantages of force, activity/control, and time - generally you have a little more flexibility and ease compared to a cramped position, but cramped positions can be okay if accurately played. Some players like locking the pawns up like you have in the position at 12.a5, but I encourage you to think in terms of how to maintain tension and plan pawn breaks to really bring your game up to the next level :)
@Mezmer I had little thought of that during the game, I was too intent on not exchanging pieces. That way, I had a higher chance of winning.
