Today, the built-in browser engine stopped loading on Safari. The seerver analysis is ok, but if you try different moves, the grey loading icon keeps spinning. Tested on two different machines, Safari 9 on MacOS 10.9 and Safari 10 on MacOS 10.11. No messages to be found in the console.
Chrome is fine.
Tor Browser on Tails here. Same problem. The engine loading spinner just keeps on spinning and spinning. It was working fine up until today.

In my case it's trying to load Stockfish 8 ASMJS, if that matters. It has always been that, and has worked well up until now.
I am using firefox and updated the packages. I still have problems with the engine. I hope it'll be fixed soon.
Is there an error code in the developer tools?
It started working again for me on Safari/Mac earlier today, now it's stopped working again. It's still working fine on Chrome.
Chrome always works while Safari often has problems. I use Chrome for lichess and Safari for everything else.

Maybe you are using an outdated browser:
github.com/ornicar/lila/#supported-browsers.
In general I would recommend using chrome for lichess.
