Is Vienna Gambit playable at a higher level?

Lately I played this classical game against a decently rated player and I went for a very sharp line. I've seen some games in the Master's database featuring this line, but these are only a few games. As this line is a nearly forced line in the Vienna Gambit (Max Lange Variation with 2. Nc6), I wondered why not more players at a higher level play this.

At move 5 I also have a more solid option with g3, which also has been played a few times by higher level players.
David Navara played 6. d6 in 2010 where white was unable to find any lasting attack. I wonder if higher level defense makes the theory go to black, but the practical chances go to white?

Black is objectively better, but white has practical chances.

@tpr Are you quoting a bullet game ? I am talking about classical OTB chess. I guess the Hamppe-Algaier line of the Vienna Gambit is not playable at high levels so against better players I should play 5. g3
