Alekhine Defense Difficulties

<Comment deleted by user>
Ÿou should play the mainlines and not offbeat opening system. You should play exd5 and than after Qxd5 you have two very good options Nf3 and Nc3 both leading in good positions for white.
I don't know of any defense, I only know attacks like the aggressive Four Pawns Attack (whenever I play the Alekhine - which does happen very rarely I might add - my Opponents play the four pawns attack and win easily - well, I don't know much theory to be honest).
But I can safely recommend the King's Indian Attack - it's like 1.e4 Nf6 2.d3 and if 2...d5 then 3.Nd2 if 3...dxe4 4.dxe4 and you can develop your light-squared Bishop to b5, c4 or d3 if you so choose. And of course, a KIA that does not get "interrupted" like this is a good Option - although not really a defense. But if you don't play the KIA or KID, then it probably won't be your cup of tea.
I hope that this was somewhat helpful.
The idea I would like to suggest is certainly not the most critical test of the Alekhine's Defense, but it will give White a very solid, playable position with little fear of Black deviating too early.

Something like 6...Qe7+ is not scary, I believe. 7.Be2 does not lose a pawn to 7...Nxc4?? because of 8.Qa4+ but that will never come on the board at a strong level of play such as yours.

A more common move order to get to the same position was played by Shirov in this game:

Okay, so actually this is a "normal" line in the Alekhine's Defense, but the White position looks comfortable to me.

If I come across a better idea I'll let you know.

Have a look at 3.Nc3, a line which I find interesting (You have the choice for 4.dxc3 or 4.bxc3, I kind of like 4.dxc3). Here is an example game by a creative GM :
