Rollback during game - bug?

I just had something like a "rollback" during this game:



We've played already until move #28 or #29 - then the page reloaded(?) and the position was set back to move #26.
Didn't find anything in the forum - can someone explain what happened there?

Hmm... Interesting, I also had the following happen:

I was playing atomic..... There was a rook on the board I couldn't move....
I checked in the analysis after the game, and the rook had been taken before, but was still shown!!!
It was a very fast game, and partly my trying to move the "extra" rook made me lose that game.....

In my and your case I think it is a system malfunction.

Agree. Happened some minutes before the lichess reset, and others had problems too. I assume it's related.
