Please allow us to further zoom so that we can hide LiChess scoreboard like we did with Version 1!

While I may have adapted to LiChess over the past 1 week, I still couldn't quite adapt to 100% my liking.

My biggest complaint with LiChess Version 2 besides the giant main menu of the web page is my inability to zoom further to hide the scores below the chess board. I cannot hide the scores below the chessboard even at 100% zoom. This is a problem after V2. In Version 1 100% zoom allowed me to hide the scores below the board!

The scores cuts off. Here's my screenshot where I posted it in another thread. But obviously now I would like to post it as part of a feedback.

As we can see it is aesthetically distracting to have the scores being displayed. I would like it to be hidden so I can only see the chess board and the letters below the board, not the scores!

I hope I manage to clarify what I am suggesting. This is a very easy fix for the developers. Just allow us to increase the zoom sliders a little bit further and this scoreboard below will be hidden away from sight of the chessboard.

Many thanks.
You can use the 'Zen' Mode, which can be activated in the first main point "Spieldarstellung" (Game appearance?) in the Settings. Then you will only see the clock, nothing else while playing.
Zen Mode is not very good because you do not see the player with whom you are playing. It completely blinds you from seeing your opponent and his/her rating. I have just tested it and I do not like it.

Between the Windows taskbar and the letters of the board has a very thick gap. I understand this is the space for the scores to fit in. But it is not how it is supposed to be. I've played on LiChess for over 2 years and prior to last weeks V2 update I've always managed to zoom the board enough so that the board sits in line with the taskbar.

If I want to see the scoreboard I can scroll down manually myself and see it. But I don't need it to obstruct my visual experience while I am playing, especially for a game of chess that requires so much thinking and concentration.

I hope a developer acknowledges this issue and addresses it. It is a simple 2 minutes fix!
You can hide it with Stylus and this userstyle:
.round__underboard { display: none; }
For me this is not working, I don't know why. Is it officially supported for Chrome?
There appears to be an error when I try clicking on this user style script.

Even if this is fixable with this DIY solution, it's still not ideal. LiChess should be able to fix this by allowing further zoom. This is surely a 2 minute job for them to implement, I don't know why they are unable to recognise this mistake that they have made when comparing to Version 1.

It is a flaw that they should identify and fix very easily. I'd be very disappointed if in the coming months/years we have an issue unfixed that only takes perhaps 30 seconds to fix, not even 2 minutes!
This may not be an ideal solution for you, @GoLdEnFLAME, but you could use a dark background (or a transparent one with an image, like in this screenshot). With the board geometry set to 100% size, and the browser maximized, the board really stands out compared to the rest of the page.

#6 Good gravy... I disagree on the "2 minute" aspect although I'm disappointed in myself for not catching this issue earlier (due to some strangeness with my hardware).

#8 It won't be easy but I'm optimistic that when V3 comes out (or maybe earlier) a solution will be found.
