Can you export a game you finished after making trying an alternative

Once done and playing "learn from your mistakes" I sometimes play out the alternative game to see how I would have fared if I didn't make a mistake. As far as I can tell all you can do is download the original PGN file then alter it on a chess program. I just would like to play out different scenarios and then save them to see later. I can't find how to save that alternate game though. Any suggestions on how to export or copy and paste that game to create a PGN file from this?
I'm not sure what page you are on at that time, but look to see if there is a menu button on the far right under the score (it is the stacked three lines). Click that and then click Study. This will let you make a study of the game. You can then make whatever variations you want in the score and save them to the study. You can later export the study, either all the chapters or just one, as a PGN file.
Thank you I saw the Study option but didn't assume it did this.
