@Alice_ex The computer analysis one requests for is analysed at a particular depth, more than 60. While on running Stockfish to analyse the position, it may yield different evaluation due to difference in depth. So, if one keeps Stockfish analysing upto a particular high depth, the evaluation would be almost same as that one of computer analysis.
@schachnils I checked only now. Stockfish 14+ analysis within CLOUD analysis shows 1.8 at depth 16. And it increases slowly on letting Stockfish analyse the position. @Alice_ex So, I didn't check the evaluation initially. I know that sometimes Stockfish evaluation is not correct in computer analysis. And this position also falls in that category.
LiChess has a system they use where they decide who to trust when they upload evaluations to their cloud. The system might be as good as possible but still flawed at times.
That's my theory as to why you occasionally see strange things. If you really care about stockfish evaluations downloading it and running it on your own computer works best.
When I run stockfish locally even at depth 1 it says 2.4.
