In horde I've noticed that most of the time black wins. This is often because black is able to repeat moves to force pawn moves from white, sort of like zugzwang. What do you think? Is horde actually fair?

I Assume You Are Asking If Both Sides Are Inherently Equal.
If So: The Engine Seems To Like White A Decent Amount More - So On An Objective Level, White Is Better, It Seems.
But In Practice, It Largely Depends on The Players.
Personally, I Am Awful With The Pawns, So I Prefer Black
