Is there any way to input moves other than a trackpad or mouse ?

Ok, thank you very much for the suggestions, as I say my fingers are not that nimble but I will have a look at all your suggestions :)

Trackballs still exist as well, but maybe the wrist problem would still be there. for speed, there are less arm muscles to be recruited for a given movement, so less delay there, and less whole arm inertia to come back from for rapid opposite motions.

That's my guess. I use it to prevent neck pains (from repetitive arm motion).
