Can I make arrows in studies permanent?

If I left click anywhere on the board that isn't a piece, my circles and arrows will disappear. I wish there was an option to save or cement the arrows on a chapter or study so that left clicking does not get rid of them but re-drawing over them does. I imagine it could be a toggle-able thing per study or per chapter.

I am always wary of accidentally left clicking on the wrong part of the screen and losing my sometimes pretty detailed annotations. Something like an undo button to get the previous state of the annotations back would be almost as good. If either of these features exist I have failed to find it in the UI or by googling.
You can disable recording via the "rec" button in the bottom left. That will mean everything you do until you re-enable recording won't be saved so it's not quite a "save arrows" mode but might be good enough.
Oh right, it's not the same but that is helpful. When I finish a study I can uncheck the REC button
It's still annoying because when you are annotating a puzzle and accidentally do this you lose all the arrows on that position and there is no way to recover it. I don't understand why this happens at all.
Annoyance doesn't help recover lost information.

If I was worried that something I created might get lost I'd create a backup.
Probably take a about a month to do that ... sign right up !
You have a very slow mouse speed. Clicking on clone or save takes me a few seconds.
