What is a good opening for White

sadly there are no good openings for white
everything leads to a draw
just pick the one you think is funniest
Some good ones are:
Kings Indian attack.
Queen's gambit.
Reti(nf3).
Italian.
I play the stonewall attack which can get you crushing positions in some games as white. However, if you are under 1000 uscf, it is probably better to stick with e4 though.
The London System, although not the best opening to fight for an advantage, is pretty easy to learn and offers good positions where White has pretty much nothing to fear.
The problem is that this question is super subjective. For example, my friend plays very well with the Blackmeir Daimer Gambit (i May not have spelled that one correctly), so it is great for him, whereas for me it’s not ideal and I prefer the Catalan. Contrarily, he doesn’t play fianchetto systems well, so the Catalan would not be a good fit for him if his goal is to win games in the short term.

Bottom line... there are lots of good options but you have to figure out which ones generate middle games that feel intuitive for you.
