Everyone’s favourite openings

I know there are a lot of threads already on openings but I’m just curious what does everyone like to play?
I play the 'boring' giuoco piano most of the time as it doesnt involve a lot of theory, scotch sometimes as white but Im trying to get into ruy lopez at the moment. (e4 all the way tho :)).As black i just play whatever comes to mind it really depends on what my opponents play. What about you?
I'm not sure if I want to reveal my opening repertoire, but definitely interested in seeing all the replies

@Tae7 it seems that I’ve played a lot of robotsch opening without realising.I find Giuoco a bit too symmetrical sometimes.
Irregular Openings are fun OTB.
Because it leaves my Opponents stunned and I,m there to see it.
One club game I played :
My Opponent 1.e4
Me : 1.a5
It left white shocked for 2 or 3 minutes.

i like fireworks and tactics right from the start........so i play e4, and the scotch, doing some major gambiting, avoid the italian (it's for wusses and the like), run away in terror at the insanely boring four knights (at least, that's been my impression), and as black i hate facing d4, and generally plod out my budapest to that, if possible, or for e4 i try for the petrof. since that migrates into that awful three or four nights disaster......... i just start tossing pawns up like sacrificial lambs, for a bit of excitement. i need something else as black... you're often trapped into a super boring opening, and it's just pitiful......

sometimes i play the ruy lopez as white. it's pretty in your face.......like the scotch, sort of...
Currently playing a fairly minimal repertoire - Scotch as white, Taimanov Sicilian and QGD as black, although the chances of actually getting into a QGD seem too be pretty minimal at my level.

I'm not sure I'd call any of those favourites, though - I'd be interested to add the Giuoco Pianissimo and the Ruy Lopez as white, start playing 1... e5 as black, and maybe add something like the Reti for a bit with more of a positional / QP flavour but without as much theory as playing 1 d4. But that's all balanced against time that could probably be better spent on tactics and endgames...
