Puzzle 62899 alternate solution

Hello,

I think there should be 2 solutions to this puzzle:
lichess.org/training/62899

Bh3 definitely shouldn't be rated as "fail" because it means the knight is pinned and captured next turn (if black tries to defend with h5, f3 solves the problem).

I understand the b5 is probably a little better because the white bishop is more dangerous than the knight (and it gets captured without the need of opening the king's side) - but it's still a disappointment to see Bh3 marked as fail, since it's also quite strong move, giving clear advantage to white...

What are your thoughts about this?
Black would defend against Bh3 with f5, defending the knight and breaking the pin. If white continued with f3, the knight could retreat to safety, and the rook would not be in danger.

Oh, I need to be more observant :) Every time I seemed to find a "bug" in a puzzle so far, it turns out I just overlooked something. Anyway, thanks for the explanation!
when you solve the puzzle and are not sure about something, analyze it with computer
Indeed, there aren't any bugs in the puzzle generator! (Though someday I'd like to see the return of puzzles having some "try again" second-best moves.)

BTW (at least in the browser) it's possible to see computer analysis when viewing the solution.
Thanks. I know about the Stockfish analysis option - but having seen a few studies of human player games in which Stockfish marks one of the best moves (usually a bold sacrifice with great outcome a few turns later) with ?? and suggests something completely different, I seem to be a little sceptical about it as the ultimate tool for move evaluation.

What I was talking about was something more like you mention - sometimes I find a "good" solution to a puzzle and it's a little frustrating to get it mercilessly rejected with FAIL, just because it's not "the best one" :( (Even though I do understand now that this was not the case.)

Unfortunatelly, Stockfish won't help me here either, since it would probably ignore the "second best" moves.

If I remember correctly, the "Good move, but try again." works in these puzzles: lichess.org/practice
