Correspondance Game and Computer assistance

Hello,

I have played my first correspondance game. But it just ended abruptly a few minutes ago.
To me, correspondance game allows you to take your time to analyse your game.
So far, I have used computer analysis for some moves - not all of them espacially at the opening stage.

This morning I set up my game in a new tab besides my playing tab. But lichess.org just said 'Cheat detected'.
Of course I was using Lichess with the Analysis tool.

It is the first time in my life I play a correspondance game.
To me it is fair to use computer analysis or any other ressources I want to use such as books, we sites etc ... . I understand games may look like best computer + engine vs best computer + engine but I use computer espacially for checking tacticals errors. I believe I still deal with the long term strategy of my chess games.
I have never been reported as a cheater before.

Also I saw my opp playing some moves quickly, other took longer time to be played. I don't mind him using computer assistance or any help of any type.

I would like people to give me a feedback for this Cheating detection, as in my mind it is not cheating.
Tks for your answer.

If somebody can give me a website where I can play Correspondance game without this kind of problem that may occur, it would be great.
I want to play correspondance chess with computer assistance. I understand in 3+2 blitz game computer assistance is forbidden, but not in correspondance games.

Happy you read this thread.

I wonder how you know this since you can't look at your own report history.

Yes it does. What it doesnt allow its for some one else or something else analyzing it for you. That IS CHEATING. You are playing against another player, thats the "contract" of correspondence. If you are using a bot, the other player might as well play against a bot himself, there is no need for you in that transaction, nor a reason to deceive him making him think he is actually playing a human when he is not.
Ok,

thanks for your answers.

I went through the Wikipedia Chess Correspondance page.
It implies that using computer is allowed for the endgames and espacially the use of tablebases (7 pieces maximum).
But I guess it is not allowed to use computer during the game (Wikipedia does not find clear information upon it).

So it was my first and last game of Correspondance game on Lichess.

Does anyone know a Web Site which focuses or specializes on Chess Correspondance games ?
My idea is to share analysis with my opponent for such games and notify use of computer assistance for some moves.

Nevertheless I will still play blitz games on Lichess !

I have never got this 'Computer assistance' or 'Cheated detected' message before this post on the forum.
And also I have never used computer assistance besides this correspondance game.

I guess it is easy to detect computer assistance because your move time response is even during the game, as explains GothamChess on his videos.
