All kidding aside you could make an argument there are a lot of close analogies , and according to some physics theories our existence may be a type of hologram that our brains interprete. ( don't ask me to explain it , I just read the concept , I do not understand it ) .

@Mopman I know, but I don't agree with that. I think it's just math/information theory playing tricks on people. Where do they plan to take that theory? Tron?

You are asking the wrong person , things like quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity just make my head hurt but physicists and engineers say we need them for things like GPS to work.

Sure, but those things have an actual basis inside the realm of physics. To now say that all the informatiion that represents this physics can also be mathematically projected on a 2-dimensional surface, is just a little math-trick that has no empirical basis inside physics whatsoever.
It's what math can do, but not our physical reality.
I think it's nothing more than a God-impression in bits and bytes.
