Does anyone believe that these players will be able to play a candidate?.

Maybe the opportunity will not come back?.

One no, and I guess the answer is because they can no longer perform (mental freshness, physical resistance ...) against young players.

Anand.
Topalov.
Ivanchuk.
Bacrot.
Gelfand.
Peter Leko.

and I can keep writing more names.

I don´t want to put Peter Svidler on the list, because I think he can get it.
1)Anand.He is only actual world champion in a fast time control.
2)Topalov.He is only above 2700 from 10 years and more and he is playing stronger tournaments around the world.
3)Ivanchuk.Last year he was rapid world chess champ.Only for his expressions he would deserve it.
4)Bacrot. He must still reach his max potential.
5)Gelfand. He lost years ago vs Anand. He is waiting to go back and take the crown that he saw so near.
6)Leko. Similar to Vartanovic solidity and style. Also Petrosian had no chances, but Tigran managed to.Maybe hystory can repeat itself.
7)Really do you have other names?
@Bottarolodominante I have already thanked you for your comments in a private message.

I write 6 names. I know that they are all legends. If you do not want to answer, don´t do it (I do not think anyone in the world is a fortune-teller). My opinion on the subject: Of those 6, I only see Anand with options (to qualify for a candidate), and to win it he would have to shine a lot. I'm not young and it hurts me to say it, and I've already said it over here.

35/40> years brain and body are coming down and it is almost impossible to overcome and have the performance of young people. No one has said: yes, to the question. It is a yes or a no. And I say no (I don´t see Anand in a candidate). He won in Riyadh a few months ago, but the candidate is the most important tournament for me.

And who will win the candidate in the next few years? Young players!!
