Apple, Inc. or Microsoft Corporation?

Just wondering, who prefers Apple (famous for the iPhone) or Microsoft (famous for the Windows operating system)?
I would use Linux more if there was more games supported for it. For everyday personal use it is one of my favorites. It's really fast and smooth. It's not the most user friendly but there is definitely value in learning to use it. The really neat thing is Linux is has many distributions. If you want something that works like Apple then get Ubuntu. If you want Windows then Mint (I personally use) is great. The only major downside is if something goes wrong it can be hard to figure out why it's not working. Oh and it's free and has support for many open sourced programs that rival set paid programs.

Windows is okay. Not the worst OS but I am not happy with forced updates and forced data collection. It gets easily bloated. If it wasn't the main OS for gaming I'd switch to pure Linux. Not to mention the OS can get buggy at times. I'm also not happy they are getting rid of the pay once and keep forever model for live service programs. It's just silly to think they want to charge a year subscription for Microsoft Office when it has always been available once paid. If they keep going down that greedy route I'll have no choice but to use Linux.

Apple can just die in a fire. Imagine taking everything I don't like about Microsoft but turning that into some strange 'linux' experience but they remove your ability to customize it at the hardware level. Everything they do is backwards. They brainwash users to only know how to use apple (so often I hear people unable to use windows because it's not a single button), extremely limited in what they can do, overpriced, forced plan obsolescence (saying 'oh we slowed your phone cpu because your battery is old but hey we got a BRAND NEW IPHONE coming out this year' but not giving consumers any options to replace with backup batteries on their own is hogwash), forced proprietary equipment (you need a dongle for that dongle to plug that in) instead of using the industry standard USBs, and openly fights people when they want publish on their platform (they just allowed Valve to publish Steam Link a year after release because of some BS policy targeted at them). If something goes wrong with the system of choice their 1st option is just replace the entire unit rather than fixing the problem.

I use Ubuntu 19.04, and, compared to Apple's & Microsoft's operating systems, I prefer Ubuntu.
