Why did Carlsen and Nepomniachtchi wimp out and draw so early?

Speaking disrespectfully to other lichess users, using words that may not be appropriate for some users and criticising top players like Magnus and Nepo. Could you do better than them?

What words were inappropriate? Since when is criticizing top players a crime?

Because I can't do better than them I can't point out what they did today? Basically they did a spinoff of the boring Berlin. Instead of trading queens on the d file, they traded queens along the light square diagonal.

If I were you, I would stop, keep quiet.

Ok, I know too much. I won't reveal any more secrets. Thanks for the heads up.
Excuse me, you can't give players MUCH, MUCH stronger players than you information about how to play and what to play.
You could jump on a plane to Dubai and go and ask them yourself. Perhaps even suggest some variations they missed. Post the interviews on YT for us all to mull over.
@common-Buzzard no worries... some (far too many) threads on this forum do leave you wondering... it sometimes reminds you of being in a kindergarten.
1. Thanks for the post
2. Good spelling of Nepo
//
3. 45 moves isn't a short draw.
4. Nobody played below their level, or played worse on purpose.
