Can a 1300 player play a "perfect" chess game?

@clousems Exactly.

And yes, people have become masters by using solely lichess. Lichess has just enough tools. I will list those "tools" out:

1. A REALLY HELPFUL forum (on Lichess) for people who need help with chess as opposed to the trolls you find in chess.com. an example of one of many troll forums on chess.com: www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-openings/1-a4-best-chess-opening2
2. The "practice" tool and "puzzles" tool. While chess.com is definitely better in that, you literally have to pay like $100 a year. Lichess is free.
3. "Off topic" designated forum (chess.com doesn't have that)
4. 8 variants of chess as opposed to chess.com's 5 or so.
5. Free 20-depth analysis (you have to pay for that on chess.com, but for that, you get an extra digit on analysis but that's not really important) and cloud-stored analysis up to depth 99 (chess.com doesn't have that).
6. Lichess has a much better user interface (including settings and more)
7. Easier to access tournaments (related to user interface as well)
8. Importing games and keeping it in your account is a lot easier on lichess
9. More board geometries and piece themes on lichess

Enough said.
I personally hope that if I ever made a chess video people wouldn’t just debate about the site I used. I would want feedback and comments on the game, the other would just make me want to delete the video and potentially more. I don’t see why you all have to give him such a hard time because he has different preferences. The comments he made were merely defense to the overflowing responses of misplaced ‘hate’.
@MathematicChess
I can see both sides of the arguement.

But I think the point is that the thread is an advertisment for a money making venture on a platform that prides itself on remaining free for all people.

The thread isn't really an attempt to contribute to the 'chess discussion'.

The OP doesn't use Lichess because he prefers other platforms.
However he is *using* Lichess for his own benefit.

I assume Lichess is the second largest target audience after chess . com...

I doubt anyone would begrudge him promoting his business via the posting of instructional videos recorded using Lichess, but it clearly strikes many as being a little bit rude and lazy to just slap up chess . com videos and then leg it back to chess . com
@MathematicChess : My problem is not necessarily with his use of chess dot com. I myself have an account over there (although I rarely use it). The problem I have is with his response to what I believe to be a legitamate criticism.

In his defense, @BlakeyBChess has, in the past, shown himself to be receptive and willing to discuss the ideas he presents in his videos to some degree. Hence why I decided to comment with some advice, rather than a straight up brutal condemnation (something which I have been known to do). I sincerely hope he takes this advice to heart, as I think it's great that he is trying to help teach the ideas that he used to achieve his title.
I 100 percent agree! Lichess is certainly better than chess.com. lichess is more user friendly. Chess.com is trying to siphon money. Lichess has a way to donate but they don't push you to do it. Plus, lichess is much more organized, it's so easy to find tournaments, players etc.
Now of course, let's not hate on chess.com fans. We are entitled to our opinions after all (unless we are in North Korea).
